On 18th and 19th July 2015, the Middleton Railway celebrated their anniversary of the completion of the 1st Locomotive from the Hunslet Engine Company on July 18th 1865. Here, 0-6-0 Saddle Tank No. 66 (originally 3890), (the last standard steam locomotive built in this country for commercial use in the UK - being completed on 19th February 1964, worked at Cadeby Main Colliery, Conisborough until privately bought in November 1975), banks its 0-6-0 saddle tank companion No. 7 (originally No. 2705) 'Beatrice', having stopped in the woods adjoining Tulip Street Park now gets up steam to cross Moor Road, working the late running 13:15 service from Balm Road to Moor Road Station on 19th July 2015.
