On 22nd May 2015 the driving wheels, front and rear bogie wheels of Ex-BR Britannia Class No. 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' sit outside West Shed, Ripley. The loco had been brought to West Shed from Loughborough to allow the use of the wheel drop as the wheels need new tyres. The loco itself is tucked away at the back of the shed.
