The recently overhauled 1904 Kitson-built Lambton 0-6-2T No. 29 (Works No. 4263), resplendent in its Lambton Colliery lined green livery (reapplied in February 2014 to mark its Anniversary), creates a magical smokestack as it makes a vigorous attack on the challenging 1 in 49 Esk Valley gradient, working the 11:02 demonstration freight service from Grosmont to Goathland, on 26th September 2014, the first day of the 'Great Western' themed NYMR Autumn Gala.
