A trio of English Electric Type 1 diesel electrics at Eastfield MPD on 5th April 1969, where D8093, D8075 and D8103 await their next duties. All three were built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd and delivered during the second half of 1961. The two blue-liveried locos were both withdrawn in 1991 and scrapped locally at MC Metals of Springburn. The green-liveried loco is still in service with DRS as No. 20309. It became No. 20075 under TOPS and later carried the BR Telecommunications livery and was named 'Sir William Cooke'.
