Class 25 diesel electric No. 25059 has just arrived at Oxenhope on 6th December 2014 on the rear of the 13.55 Santa Special service from Keighley and will form the 14.40 return working. Stanier Class 5MT No. 45305 is at the other end of the train which was running in top-and-tail mode. New from Derby Works as No. D5209 in June 1963 and first allocated to Toton (18A), 25059 had a BR service life of 23 years and 8 months before withdrawal during March 1987.
