'Western' Class diesel hydraulic No. D1072 'Western Glory' speeds through a sunny Dawlish on 26th May 1971 with 1A05, 'The Golden Hind' 05:00 Penzance - London Paddington working. New from Crewe Works in November 1963, it was withdrawn from Laira in November 1976 and scrapped at Swindon Works during April 1977.
