Type 4 diesel electric No. D155 bypasses Gloucester on the Down Avoiding line and speeds through Tuffley Junction on 3rd October 1970 with 1V80, the 08.08 Newcsatle - Bristol Temple Meads service. The lines on the left are the now closed MR route via Gloucester Eastgate. New from Derby Works in February 1962, the loco became Class 46 No. 46018 under TOPS. It was withdrawn in December 1983 and scrapped at Swindon Works during April 1985.
