The Network Rail Measurment Train (08.53 Derby to Heaton) composed of two Class 43 power cars Nos. 43014 and 43062, at either end, heads north along the Carlisle & Settle line near Langwathy on Saturday 25th October 2014. The River Eamont in the background is a tributary of the River Eden. In the distance are the Eastern fells of the Lake District.
