Class 37/0 diesel electric No. 37135 awaits its next duty at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on a very dull 16th November 1984. New from English Electric as No. D6835 in April 1963 and initially allocated to Cardiff Canton MPD, it was renumbered under TOPS in 1973. The loco became Class 37/7 No. 37888 in December 1987 and was later exported to work on rail projects in Spain, firstly numbered L024 and finally L31. It was scrapped at Puigverd de Lleida in 2007 after sustaining collision damage.
