The return to traffic of Hughes-Fowler 6P/5F 4-6-0 42765 in its LMSR guise as LMS 13065 has eased the current shortage of ELR Steam Locomotives. On 30th July 2014 the returnee climbed away from Irwell Vale with the 12:35 Heywood - Rawtenstall service comprising the standard 5-coach trainset supplemented by the 4-coach dining car consist.
