On 18th June 2014 at 09:55, South-West Trains Class 450/0 No. 450006 arrives at Platform 1 at Southampton Central, with a service from Weymouth to London Waterloo, due to depart at 10:00. Waiting, out-of-sight in the platform, is another Class 450 to which the arriving train will attach for the onward journey. In the distance (left) an unidentified Class 444 waits in the down-loop for its move, in about twenty minutes, to Platform 1, where it will be attached to the front of the next train from Weymouth to Waterloo, due to depart at 10:30.
