LNER A4 Class Pacific No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley passes Powderham on 19th April 2014, with the return leg of The Dartmouth Express charter train from Kingswear to Guildford. The A4 would take the train as far as Westbury, from where it would be diesel hauled for the remainder of the journey.
