Southampton Central is a scene of much activity on Good Friday on 18th April 2014. The station is closed for four days over the Easter Weekend for the completion of a track renewal programme. Class 66/5 No. 66587 sits in the platform with a train of track panels, while in the distance, Class 66/0 No. 66117 is on an engineers train.
