Awaiting its fate in the scrap line at Lostock Hall MPD on 19th May 1967 is Fairburn Class 4 2-6-4T No. 42187. New from Derby Works as LMS No. 2187 in December 1947, it was withdrawn in March 1967 and cut up by J Cashmore of Great Bridge during September of that year.
