Class 47/4 diesel electric No. 47618 'Fair Rosamund' on the fuel line at Gloucester Horton Road MPD on 9th May 1985. New from Crewe Works as No. D1609 in August 1964 and initially allocated to Landore (87E), it became Class 47/0 under TOPS in 1973. It was re-classified as No. 47618 in August 1984 and later became No. 47836 in August 1989. Further re-classification to No. 47780 came in January 1994. The loco was withdrawn in October 2003 but re-instated in January 2004. Final withdrawal came in July 2006 and it was cut up by EMR at Kingsbury during August 2007.
