In original livery and awaiting its next relaying work, 0-6-0 diesel electric shunter No. PWM654 is marshalled in its train at Gloucester New Yard on 5th September 1969. The loco was built for BR by Ruston & Hornsby of Lincoln during 1959, for departmental duties. It became No. 97654 under TOPS and was painted in yellow CE livery. It was eventually sold by EWS to an infrastructure company in Edinburgh and remained in service until 2005. The loco is now preserved by the Heritage Shunters Trust.
