In Inter-City Swallow livery, English Electric Class 37/5 No. 37518 'Fort William/An Gearasdan' is stabled at Fort William Depot on 25th September 2013. New as Type 3 No. D6776 from Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd, Darlington, in October 1962, it was first allocated to Thornaby (51L). The loco became Class 37/0 No. 37076 under TOPS in 1973, finally becoming 37518 in June 1987.It was withdrawn from service and stored in December 2000, being purchased for preservation, initially on the Nene Valley Railway, during February 2007. The loco was acquired by Riley & Son Ltd in 2011.
