The recent shake-up of Network Rail infrastructure services has seen DB Schenker lose services to other operators, including the daily Crewe - Carlisle circuit which is now operated by DRS.
On 2 2nd August it was DRS Class 66/3 66302 which was noted drifting through Euxton with the southbound Carlisle - Crewe working.
