Brush Type 2 No. 5503 shunts empty stock at Harwich Parkeston Quay on 8th April 1969. New in January 1958 as D5503, it was initially allocated to Stratford (30A) and became Class 31/0 No. 31003 under the TOPS renumbering in 1973. It was finally withdrawn in February 1980 and cut up at Doncaster Works during April of that year. The station was renamed Harwich International in 1995.
