There are three German North Sea islands which boast a narrow gauge railway, one of them being Langeoog, where no cars are allowed. "Inselbahn Langeoog" links its Harbour with the village and uses a fleet of Schoma diesel locos which usually operate in top-and-tail mode. Lok 4 will shortly arrive at the village Terminus with a morning service on a glorious 2nd August 2013.
