Class 156 No. 156473 returned to home territory on 3rd July 2013 while working a Liverpool - Norwich service in multiple with a Class 158 Express DMU train set; this unit was one of the Northern Trains units transferred to MT as part of the stock transfers which saw Tyseley-based Class 150 units transferred to Newton Heath.
