On 23rd March 2013, the south-west corner of the UK did not suffer the heavy falls of snow that much of the rest of the country endured, however, in common with the rest of the country it did feel the pain of the bitingly cold easterly winds. The weather forecasts indicated that steam and smoke would be blown behind the locomotives and train, but unfortunately it swirled around to hide much of the second locomotive and all of the train. The working was 1Z49, 07:11 Tyseley Warwick Road to Newport, an excursion operated by Vintage Trains Ltd with the advertised name 'Double Headed Hallage' though the headboard reads 'The Red Dragon.' Leading the consist is GWR Hall 4-6-0 No. 4965 'Rood Ashton Hall' with classmate 4936 'Kinlet Hall' just visible; it is unfortunate that the coaches cannot be seen as it was a complete rake-liveried in chocolate and cream, an almost perfect recreation of God's Wonderful Railway!
