A pair of English Electric Class 50's, No. 50044 'Exeter' and No. 50031 'Hood' stabled in Kidderminster Yard on 13th August 1994. New from Vulcan Foundry as No. D444 in October 1968 and first allocated to Stoke Division (D05), it became Class 50 No. 50044 under TOPS and was named at Exeter St Davids on 26th April 1978. Withdrawn from service in January 1991, it was restored and attended the Exeter 150 celebrations in May 1994.
