Brush Type 4 diesel electric No. D1773 calls at York on 8th June 1971 with a Liverpool - Scarborough service. New from Loughborough in September 1965, it's first allocation was Tinsley (41A) after a short time at the Research Department, Toton. It became No. 47178 under TOPS and later No. 47588 'Carlisle Currock'. The loco was withdrawn as No. 47737 'Resurgent' in February 2004 and cut-up by EMR Kingsbury during August 2008.
