'Western' Class 52 diesel hydraulic No. D1029 'Western Legionnaire' at Bristol Temple Meads on 21st August 1971 having just arrived with a service from London Paddington. New from Swindon Works in April 1964 and first allocated to Bristol Bath Road (82A), it was withdrawn from Laira in November 1974 and cut-up at its place of birth during May 1975.
