The Swanage Railway held its Autumn Gala over the weekend of 7th thru 9th September 2012 with Standard Class 2 Mogul No. 78019 replacing Standard Class 8 Pacific No. 71000 Duke of Gloucester at short notice due to the latter's failure at Eastleigh on a rail charter. Here, Battle of Britain Class Pacific No. 34070 Manston passes Woodhyde on 9th September with the 11:58 Swanage - Norden goods train.
