A quirky pair of visitors to the 2012 Autumn Steam Gala was the cut-down Bagnall 0-4-0STs which were specially built for the low bridges of Par Docks and are now preserved at the Bodmin & Wenford Railway; these worked in top n tail mode with Class 108 train-set Nos. 51933 + 54504 on a series of Norden - Motola shuttles. The shuttle service was terminated in mid-afternoon on 9th September 2012 as Bagnall 2572 0-4-0ST Judy suffered injector problems and Bagnall 3058 0-4-0ST Alfred suffered a hot box; the consist was quickly shunted before being moved into the siding for closer inspection of the ailing locomotives.
