On Friday 7th September 2012, OBB (Austria State Railway) Class 1144 No. 1144058 waits at Salzburg Hbf Platform 5 with the 10:15 semi-fast service to Wein West Haptbahnhof. Closest to the camera is a Talent 3 car EMU with a S-Bahn service to Golling-Abtenau. Extensive refurbishment is currently taking place at Salzburg, along with a number of other large stations on the Austria Rail Network. The colourful building in the background is part of the local OBB offices.
