Class 47 No. 47488 'Ral Riders' waits to depart from Manchester Piccadilly on 23rd January 1991 with 1V12, the 14:12 service to Cardiff Central. New as D1713 in January 1964, it was re-numbered under TOPS in February 1974 and named at Crewe TMD on 9th August 1988.
