GWR 'Modified Hall' 4-6-0 No. 6998 'Burton Agnes Hall' passing Churcham on 13th June 1987 with 'The Cathedrals Pullman' charter from London Paddington to Hereford via Gloucester, which it hauled on the Swindon - Newport section. No. 6201 'Princess Elizabeth' hauled the Newport - Hereford leg and the special was diesel-hauled between Paddington and Swindon.
