Electro-diesels returned to Merseyside on February 12 2012 when a Network Rail trainset arrived at Kirkdale behind 73138 working in top n tail mode with 73107.
The ensemble is booked for a week of overnight trips on North West lines based at Kirkdale, where it was caught on camera on February 13, and Wigan.
