The last day of November 2011 see No. 156411 passes Netherfield Junction on the eastern outskirts of Nottingham.
Running spot on time the working is East Midlands Trains service 2S15 the 11.45 Nottingham - Skegness. In two years’ time this view will probably look very different as Netherfield Junction box which controls the junction where the Lincoln and Grantham lines split is due to be abolished in late 2013, control passes to Derby IECC.
