BR Standard Class 7P6F, No. 70000, 'Britannia', beginning its journey to Bath and Bristol with the 'Dorset Coast Express' of 3rd August 2011. A gentle start is required, both to avoid alipping and to get through the tight curves immediately after the station, but soon the train will be on the straight where more power will be applied. A mile or so ahead is Branksome Bank, a stiff climb ahead, where a good run-up is helpful.
