'The Thames Taff' was the name given by UK Railtours to its excursion on 22nd May 2011 from London to Machen and Cwmbargoed. This view shows No. 66188 leading out of Gaer Tunnel, Newport and about to leave the main-line at Gaer Junction for the run to Machen, the working being 1Z65, 08.45 Paddington to Cardiff.
