On the windswept climb to Cwmbargoed is No. 66188 leading UK Railtours' 'The Thames Taff' on 22nd May 2011, 1Z75, 13.37 Cardiff Central to Cwmbargoed at Bedlinog. The tour began in London and also visited Machen and was graced with sunny intervals and little rain.
