The bitumen traffic operating to Preston Docks has recently been provided with a fleet of new wagons which have specially designed bogies to reduce track wear. On 23rd February 2011, a train sits beside the Ribble Steam Railway platform at Riversway waiting to be shunted into the discharge area.
