Class 97/3s Nos. 97302 and 97303 pass Picnic Island, Aberdovey, on the 12.00 6Z97 Coton Hill to Porthmadog, conveying the 10 MRAs for testing the following day. This was the first occasion that a 97/3 had hauled a train up the coast section in daylight.
