97301 and 97304 arrive at Welshpool on a crew training journey from Shrewsbury Abbey Foregate to Aberystwyth and return. This was the first time that these 97/3s had run on the Cambrian. Note the piles of steel sleepers for the redoubling of the track up to Forden.
