97304 and 97301 pass Forden on a crew training journey returning from Aberystwyth back to Shrewsbury Abbey Foregate. This was the first time that these 97/3s had run on the Cambrian. Also to be seen is the high-speed turnout which will be installed halfway along the straight behind the rear loco, and this will be the end of the double-track dynamic loop from Welshpool.
