LMS Princess Coronation Class No. 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' slows to a stand at Guide Bridge station on 30th July 2010 with The Railway Touring Company's 'Scarborough Flyer' railtour from Crewe to the Yorkshire seaside resort. The train had just restarted from a water stop at Denton but would wait around five minutes at Guide Bridge for a TransPennine service to pass before proceeding towards Stalybridge and the climb to Diggle.
