The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway held its Diesel Gala over the weekend of July 24 / 25 when an intensive service involving 3 trainsets was in use. Class 31 D5600 worked one trainset in top n tail mode with sister engine 31119 which was noted arriving at No. Embsay on July 25 with a service from Bolton Abbey while Class 14 D9513, in the guise of NCB 38, was being checked prior to departing for Bolton Abbey.
