The East Lancs Railway held their 2010 summer diesel gala over the weekend of July 2nd to 4th. Several members of the home diesel fleet were in action alongside locos visiting from other preserved lines. Recently returned to traffic with two engines running, Class 55 No. 55022 'Royal Scots Grey' throbs into Ramsbottom station as it works the 2J75 12:05 Heywood to Rawtenstall service on July 3rd.
