On 20th March 2010 Pathfinder Tours operated 'The Western Rocks' railtour which took Class 52 'Western' No. D1015 'Western Champion' from Bristol Temple Meads to Buxton. The return journey ran via the freight only line through Peak Forest to reach the Hope Valley route at Chinley East Junction. Masquerading on one side as sister machine D1054 'Western Governor', the diesel-hydraulic makes a fine sight powering up the climb to Peak Forest from a standing start at Great Rocks.
