Operating for the first time in 2009, Past Time Rail ran their popular 'Cotton Mill Express' circular tour on 31st January using LMS Stanier Black Five No. 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier'. Reverting to its usual anti-clockwise circuit, the outward leg climbs through Diggle heading towards Standedge Tunnel.
