Test Car 2 ADB975397 on display in the yard at Quorn and Woodhouse on day 1 of the Great Central Railway Spring Diesel Gala on 26th April 2024. Originally built at Wolverton in 1962 as Mk 1 Brake Second Corridor (BSK) No. 35386 the coach was adapted for use by the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (DM and EE) as a test car in 1974, being used for vehicle slip/brake testing and was based at the Railway Technical Centre in Derby, before further use by Serco and then eventually saved for preservation by a GCR volunteer.
