Although engineering work continues at Blue Anchor, the reopening of a single track there using the up loop allowed the extension of the West Somerset Railway from Watchet to Minehead in time for the Easter weekend. Here GWR 0-6-0PT No. 6430, on loan from the Llangollen Railway, leaves Minehead at Marsh Common on Good on 19th April with the first public passenger train of the 2019 season from Minehead, the 10:05 service to Bishops Lydeard.
