In less than four hours time many firework displays will get underway. Here on Filton bank at what will become Horfield junction, an early display of flames and sparks are thrown into the air as a lengths of rail are welded together. The ferocious flames are clearly seen in this view and during the welding process, temperatures rise to well in excess of 2,500 degrees centigrade. The welding team keep a respectful distance at 15:50 on 5th November 2018.
