No stranger to these parts recently, West Coast Railways Class 57/3 No. 57315 is pictured at Blaenau Ffestiniog on 4th October 2017, after arrival there and subequent repositioning into the siding. Out of sight at the rear of the train was Company Class 47 No. 47760 and the pair worked 'The Scenic Conwy Valley Explorer II' from Scarborough to Blaenau and are awaiting the next arrival of the Ffestiniog Railways service before working back to Scarborough.
