"BR Standard Class 4MT Mogul No. 76079 stands at Goathland Station, awaiting the token to proceed working the 11:15 Grosmont to Pickering service on 20th March 2016, as LNER Class A3 Pacific No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman', in its BR Green livery, arrives at the Station, tailing the late running 11:00 Pickering to Grosmont service, during the NYMR's week-long 'Flying Scotsman' visit. The reason for the delay was the failure of the vacuum brakes on 60103 as it approached Moorgates while working the 09:30 service from Grosmont to Pickering. LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 'Black Five' No. 45428 'Eric Treacy' was called upon to couple up with the train and bank it to Pickering Station, where the issue was resolved. This resulted in the subsequent cancellation of the 13:20 DMU service from Grosmont to Goathland and all other services ran approximately 1 hour later than timetabled. "
