One of the newest DMUs introduced on the national network are the Bombardier built Class 172 operated by London Midland. Here No. 172331 is pictured at Worcester Shrub Hill, in former GWR territory and happily retaining much of this character in the stations and the semaphore signalling still in use. This unit was forming a Whitlocks End to Great Malvern service on 12 December 2015.
